Here’s a really awesome video from Volkswagen where a subway staircase is rigged to play like a piano when people walk on it. Increases stair use by 60%! Now if only you could make money off of that kind of scheme (only have the piano sounds work if you charge people like 2 cents or something… millions.. millions could be made!

Also, as the title of this blog post promised, here’s a pretty sweet wifi-connected piano playing iPhone app from Yamaha (and the video clip in the article has a really bizzare singing humanoid clip at the end of it – looks like its pretty much only useful if you want to make your RealDoll sing while you’re banging it, at least as far as I can tell).

Can anybody tell me what the logic behind these commercials is? I mean, I just don’t get it. Doesn’t get through to me at all.. i feel like the last 5 seconds of each commercial is pretty sufficient. I don’t mind all the little animals, but it just doesn’t seem like a good use of advertising time to me.
