Swiss Army knife vs. Russian Army knife

June 11th, 2009 08:40pm by flipvine

toolfinder_homerussian-army-knife1Lets take a look at the standard Swiss Army knife, shall we? Victorinox certainly knows how to pack a lot of features into a little tool.  Recently I came across a photo of a circa Cold War Russian Army knife and let me tell you, with all honesty, I think its photoshopped. Take a look here on the right.

I mean seriously, everybody knows Russians drink vodka – and you don’t need corkscrews to open vodka bottles! I think this is probably an Italian Army knife, or maybe a French Army knife – perhaps rebranded for a spy or something like that.  ;)
