The first is that their pet is a baby. The second is that by jogging with a pet stroller they’ll be able to get more exercise by dragging their pet around in a stroller while they jog/speedwalk/crawl. The obvious exception to those two is pet owners ...

My wife and I own JustPetStrollers.com, a site you linked to. I thought I might add to the discussion.

First of all, we agree with you that pet obesity is a problem and that pets need exercise. No question about it--a pet stroller is NOT a substitute for a pet being active and living a healthy lifestyle.

That said, I think you're missing the many potentially positive benefits of pet strollers for humans and their pets. Our customers share many appropriate reasons for a pet stroller. These include: Older pets who can't get around well; injured pets; trips to the vet; and the opportunity to take pets to places where they might not be welcome to roam free on a leash (such as outdoor malls and festivals.)

Also, cats should really never be allowed to roam free out of doors without supervision--it's extremely dangerous for them! A pet stroller is a great, safe way for cats to get fresh air and sun without exposing them to any dangers.

I'm sure I won't convince you, but I wanted to share some ways pet strollers are benefiting humans and their pets.

Thanks,
Augie
